I was inspired to paint ‘Carpet of Blue’ after many enjoyable walks within woodland during springtime. I often stop to sketch the scene in watercolour and then, once back in the studio, I can use these sketches for reference for a painting.
The colours and tones of the painting are shown as accurately as possible. However please bear in mind screens do vary.
