Meadow – a poppy greetings card from an original painting by Ingrid Hill.
I love to see poppies growing anywhere. I am often inspired to try and capture the beauty of the bright splashes of colour. I painted ‘Meadow’ in my studio with acrylics on a deep edged canvas. I used a palette knife to create lots of expressive textural marks for the background, before adding the beautifully bright red Poppies.
Each card is approximately 150 mm x 150 mm and is supplied with a Kraft envelope, individually wrapped in a cellophane sleeve. It has been left blank inside for your own message, making it suitable for many occasions.
The greetings card is professionally printed in the UK on lightly textured matt card from FSC approved sources in the Lake District.
