Morning Promise

Morning Promise is a contemporary triptych landscape which is part of Ingrid’s Woodland Series. A mixed media on a lovely cotton watercolour paper, supplied in a beautiful 20″x16″ grey frame with a conservation mount. 

The inspiration for my Woodland Series came from my daily dogs walks in the surrounding woodland close to my home within the national forest. I wanted to capture not only the beautiful changing colours throughout the year, but also the atmosphere and feelings each season evoked. From the new shoots in spring bringing with them the promise of warmer brighter days to come, through to the bare canopy of winter.
