Through the Bluebells is a tranquil scene of drifts of bluebells beneath the soft canopy of new leaves in the cool springtime light.
Through the Bluebells is painted with professional artist watercolours and inks on a high quality cotton watercolour paper. It is supplied in a beautiful 26″x21″ grey frame with a double conservation grade mount.
The inspiration for my woodland paintings come from my daily dogs walks in the surrounding woodland close to my home within the national forest. I wanted to capture not only the beautiful changing colours throughout the year, but also the atmosphere and feelings each season evoked. From the new shoots in spring bringing with them the promise of warmer brighter days to come, through to the bare canopy of winter.
