I’d like to share some exciting news with you. I’m absolutely delighted a selection of my work is currently being exhibited at the Ferrers Gallery.
The Ferrers Gallery is a beautiful gallery based in the courtyard at the Ferrers Centre for Arts & Craft on the Staunton Harold estate in Ashby de-la-Zouch, Leicestershire.
A couple of weeks ago I dropped off a selection of paintings to the gallery and I’m absolutely delighted five out of the six framed paintings have already sold and gone off to new homes!
Following the wonderful response to my new YouTube Art Vlog series and I’m planning on doing more of these short videos.
In one of my recent short Art Vlogs, Exciting News, I briefly talk both about my exciting news and also share where I get much of my inspiration from.
Vlog – Exciting News!
Until recently I’ve use a light oak moulding to frame paintings. However I feel my both of my new collections, Woodland Series and Natures Elements Series suit a more contemporary style. So I’ve started using a lovely stylish light grey frame and I have to say I’m really pleased with them. You can see the new frames in my 3 minute video below.
I’m thrilled the gallery would like to exhibit more of my work and in my short Art Vlog video below I share the four new paintings I delivered to the gallery on Friday.
Art Vlog – ‘Unwrapping Four New Paintings’
My work is always based upon personal experiences so it’s the most wonderful feeling when someone would like to own one of my paintings. It doesn’t seem to matter how many paintings I’ve sold over the years I always get such an amazing feeling of joy when a painting heads of to a new home.
I share more news about my art, tuition and future plans in my newsletters and they always include an exclusive newsletter subscribers offer. If you’d like to receive my newsletters there’s a simple form on the homepage.
